PEA in a POD Study Staff

Ari Bloshinsky

Role: Ari oversees the operations of the study, recruiting and scheduling participants, running research sessions and analyzing data.

Bio: Ari is a second-year graduate student in the Spark Lab. She earned her Bachelors from the University of Florida and her Masters in Experimental Psychology at Nova Southeastern University. Ari is interested in examining the function of social relationships and their underlying biological mechanisms. She is also interested in social perceptions and prejudice. Outside of the lab, Ari loves to spend her time exploring nature, traveling, and listening to live music.

Noah Bogart

Role: Noah is a research assistant responsible for recruiting participants, obtaining consents, maintaining files, scheduling and conducting sessions, and maintaining data collection files.

Bio: I am a Senior Biology major at the University of Arkansas here in Fayetteville. I am a pre-med student and aspire to become a surgeon after medical school. Originally I am from Lee’s Summit, MO just outside of Kansas City (I am a big Chiefs fan), but I have also lived in Chicago, IL and spent two years living in Belem, Brazil on a mission trip.

Haadiya Muhammad

Role:  Haadiya is a research assistant research assistant responsible for recruiting participants, obtaining consents, maintaining files, scheduling and conducting sessions, data entry and maintaining data collection files.

Bio: I'm a junior majoring in psychology and minoring in Spanish and medical humanities. After undergrad, I plan to pursue a career in medicine and hopefully, become a pediatrician one day.

Charles Coombs

Role:  Charles is our communication coordinator, he is in charge of distributing surveys among our participants as well as communicating with them about their upcoming sessions. He also helped with the editing of this website.

Bio: I am a Senior double majoring in psychology and music at the University of Arkansas. I currently plan to go to graduate school for experimental psychology. I am primarily interested in psychopathology from an evolutionary framework, but I am also interested in neonatal brain plasticity and mathematical physics. Most of my time outside the lab is spent playing bass trombone for the university ensembles and learning new subjects.
